Err, roughly 2 to 3 hrs every day, since aug 2016. Is there a way to check for sure?

U should able to get the info from the TV settings in the sub-menu About TV or something similar.

No, mine is 2016 model. The technicians say they extend this service to OLED owners 65" and above. They came, checked and said my power board nearing end of life so they changed it  for free. Very happy!

Received call from LG yesterday as well offering the same service for my E6.  Let's hope they offer to replace it to the E9. LOL!!!

Well they came and left after replacing the power logic board.  Still am puzzled why LG offered to do this for free given that most E6 sets are already out of warranty or soon to be.  I asked which other models are they doing this and he mentioned that E7 are also in scope.  As for getting that E9, I can flip the 6 around to get a 9 right. :-)

Maybe they discovered some quality issue. It's good that they reached out and replaced the necessary

Most likely a recall to replace quality issues due to manufacturing defects for certain OLED TV Series.

For E6 .. you can try going to: Settings -> General -> About this TV -> Total Power On Time if this option is available otherwise I don’t know.

I recall you can only view it under the service menu for the E6. That’s how the LG technician did it when he took out his special remote to check.

Samsung going big into hybrid OLED , Quantum Dot OLED, we should see prices coming down soon, hopefully, in Singapore , $8 billion in investment
