Soundbar discussion thread
« on: August 10, 2013, 10:59 »
Soundbars aren't as popular in XP as the real deal but I have put some info together so others can benefit from it when someone wants to get this instead:

The key caveat is that they aren't as good, and need regular reflections to work.

This is a good deal on a mid-range soundbar:

I recently kind of got to keep a six-month old 42 inch Phillips Smart TV and Sound bar, the HTS 9140.

Was toying with the idea of what to do with them, till finally decided to keep them for own use.

Since I am totally new to HT, took me quite a lot of trouble to put them up and hook them up.

After all that work, I have to say, man !  it makes watching TV in HD and DVDs so much more enjoyable .

It has radio, and the CD playback is pretty decent .

The overall video and audio experience is very much enhanced.

Next venture is a get my hands on some Blu ray disc to enjoy a movie or two,  but just still not used to parting with that kind of money on a Blu Ray disc.

Normally the left side has no wall (assuming right is the balcony) so how dose the soundbar bounce off the left surround?
