I auditioned TN696 and really impressed with it
Listening to DTS virtualise is so much different to compare with DTS-hd master (  which currently listening )
Only flaw it has one optical input.
Would have been better if it has 2 ...
If using DTS virtualise for 2.1 is like surround sound for HT?

Sry. Unable to use wireless surround due to no pre-out for the surround to hook on the transmitter.

Should get RZ740/840 if you want to setup wireless speaker.

Anyone knows where I can repair Onkyo AVR? My RZ720 seems kaput. Can't start up. The last error msg I got was, ask me to check speaker cables. Then it refuses to boot up anymore.

Sold away the NR696 and get the older RZ830 due to pre-out function. I currently running for 7.1 channels for my RZ830, if I getting 5 Channels amp for RZ830. Do I need to set the speaker configuration channels accordance to the number of channels for the connected speakers? Anyone can advise how to set it? Thanks.

Hi! I've got the RZ830 and was wondering what options for wireless surround speakers we have. Thanks!

Hmmm maybe about $200-300+? But I'm open to considering more if that number is unrealistic!
What is your budget?

You can try Dynaudio. But your budget is not enough for the new old stock wireless speaker.

Wow that's a really high end suggestion haha! It's even more expensive than my amp. I'll prob have to pass on this but great to know there's such an option.
