You shud try the night mode where the difference is day and night.  Day light shots are about the same on all top camera phones, matter of personal choice and preference!

Just bought the huawei P30 lite, so far so good.
HuaWei's Nova3i with same CPU/SOC spec now drops close to $100... Only if Nova can take pics as good as this...

2 things moving forward can happen for Huawei users...quickly sell your phone for existing users since losing Google functionality is as good as crippling the entire Android OS experience...My tablet now cannot install app from Google Playstore :( Alternatively, you can be optimistic and continue to hold on and cross your fingers that Donald Trump will step down as President soon and the successor will lift up the ban and resume trade with China (this is highly possible).
