Got the time to watch this awhile ago although I got it on my last visit to Shenzhen!

I love it, think it's better than Brave and it was a pity it did snatch the Oscar! :P

PQ and SQ easily a 4, lots of bass and surrounds active thru'out the show.  Story line is a 4 and on entertainment value another solid 4.5.

Overall, a 4.5 for me.  This for the 2D version on a 2D/3D BR.

Will find time again to watch the 3D version :)

Just caught this on UHD Atmos re-release. It is such a great movie even now. The homage to video games IMHO feels even better here than in Ready Player One. Tapper serving Ryu root beer. LMAO

The Atmos soundtrack is just brilliant.

I wonder if the sequel lives up to the original

I played Tapper on my Apple II compatible Cubic 99 many many years ago. Still brings back memories. Loved the melodies too.

And Street Fighter II was what got me into consoles in the first place. Countless blisters playing on the arcade in the university before getting my first Super Nintendo.

You Sir! is one lucky dude...I'm not from a well-to-do family. Playing arcade games and having a computer is a luxury. Envy you :)

Honestly we were not very well to do either. My dad made a promise to get me something if i did well in Sec 1 and I said a computer. He ended taking a loan from the company who was trying to encourage computer literacy.

I’m thankful for my parents’ sacrifice to help me become computer literate. I learnt to program in BASIC and with Beagle Bros started dabbling in lower level code.

And that’s how I ended up where I ended.

In university, I was thankful I managed to get a scholarship that paid for school fees and a stipend. Paid for my first real toys. My cousins all had Atari growing up. But the SNES was the first console I ever got and it was with my savings

We all come from different paths. And we need to recognize that there isn’t just one path for everyone. You are probably doing better than I now lol

LoL...let's not turn this into a soap opera :P

I'm doing fine...still alive and kicking...and more importantly, my passion for Home Theatre didn't wane as time goes by. Let's make sure we continue to enjoy our gadgets for many years to come.

Just watched Wreck It Ralph 2

In the past Disney was accused of greenlighting sequels just to milk a franchise. Whereas Pixar used to resist the suits push for sequels.

But Ralph 2 is as deserving a sequel as Toy Story 2. Brilliant fun. Loved the two bonus stingers at the middle and end of the show.
