I have the Chando and Hyperion SACDs.In terms of performance, this Charles Dutoit RBCD beat both of these SACDs. I have 2 copies of this Dutoit RBCD. Both were made in west Germany. But there is very audible difference in sonics.The first pressing sounds better, of course.below is picture of the first pressing RBCDOn the later pressing, it looks identical to the first pressing, but it has the words "Made in W. Germany by PDO" print on the silver ring spindle hole area.try to find the first pressing, without the words "Made in W. Germany by PDO", if you can.
Order online. Classical stuff in local cd shops are pretty miserable.
I went to That CD store for a quick browse before heading to hmv as I suspect hmv might have a wider selection. The classical selection at That CD store seems limited.
