Title: Australian Open 2019
Post by: francis wu on January 20, 2019, 20:08
Watching Federer laboured against Tsitsipas tells me that he has already passed his prime.  He was slow in reading the balls, his service lacks the stint, he was not quick in moving around the court, lost his forehand power and lastly, made too many unforced errors!  Time for the younger generation to fight for the crown :)

Congrats to Naomi Osaka for winnIng the AO 2019 and picking up the number 1 spot in the world at the same time.  Can she win again at Roland Garros, we shall see :)

Tomorrow will be another exciting match between world number 1 and 2 for the men’s final and may the best player triumphs :)

Congrats to Djokovic for winning the Australian Open for a record seventh time.  Surprised to see how easy it was for him disposed Nadal in straight sets.  Again can he maintain his form to take Roland Garros next, we shall see :)

joko's fave surface so no surprises.

rafa missed the chance of getting his 2nd elusive aussie and become GOAT.

so based on form joko might get his 2nd elusive french and turn the tables on both rafa and fed to become the GOAT.
